This fun involves removing the background from my hairy little friend Poppy. Soft feathery edges like hair can be a problem when you want to switch out the background. This time I used both Photoshop and Perfect Photo. Poppy is the other dog in my life and a sweeter girl you've never met.
Thought I would play around with a rainy day effect. As always Photoshop does not disappoint. Below is the before. So now we have dripping rain the the glow of the glass on the sides. Now we just need a window frame to look through.
We decided to get another dog and since we already had a 6 year-old Westie we decided to adopt an adult dog. After looking for a couple months we found Casey. (Then referred to as Dorthy.) In this photo, she is on her first trip home with us. The Humane Society had found her on the streets, pregnant. They kept her till all her pups were weaned and adopted but no one took her. In December, a family who work with "Throw a Dog a Bone" took her from the shelter. We adopted her in mid January. Now, we are mid June and she is a crazy, energetic, a wildly happy dog who is keeping our older dog on her toes. By the photo below you can tell she feels she owns the place. Welcome home Casey, even though you get me up at 5:30am!

AllyKattBesides the obvious, of loving my nutty family and dogs...I adore Photoshop and cake baking/decorating. What could be better than altering the reality in photos through Photoshop and altering everyone's waistline through cake. Archives
