So January 15th will be one year since we adopted Casey. (Black dog) She runs the house now. Totally bosses our older dog Poppy around. She has a crazy, all steam ahead personality. While is makes her more work than our laid back Poppy (White dog), this personality also makes her more fun. She has brought so much to our home. Many Thanks to throwmeabonedogrescue.org
It is always fun to try other techniques. I recently found Vectips.com and tried one of their tutorials. Great site.
Vineyards always have that beautiful morning fog but getting there to photograph it can be a pain... Photoshop to the rescue.
Metal type, you never know when it will come in handy or clinky as the case maybe. Here is the starting type and the finished. Fun!
Here is a really nice photo of Jellybean Bubbles, my favorite sparkling, but it just came out a little dark in some areas and hot in other areas. Photoshop to the rescue. The background seen through the window was too distracting, the over all image dark and the bottle label needed brightening up. The reflections in the glasses were too much but we needed to keep the bubbles visible. Lastly the table edge was marked up. I made multiple layers of the image and masked off the areas I did not want touched and had my way with the image.
The fireworks, I created in Illustrator with a variety of effects and gradients. The bottle was also created in Illustrator by using the Image Trace and then playing with the style of outline.
This fun involves removing the background from my hairy little friend Poppy. Soft feathery edges like hair can be a problem when you want to switch out the background. This time I used both Photoshop and Perfect Photo. Poppy is the other dog in my life and a sweeter girl you've never met. Thought I would play around with a rainy day effect. As always Photoshop does not disappoint. Below is the before. So now we have dripping rain the the glow of the glass on the sides. Now we just need a window frame to look through.

AllyKattBesides the obvious, of loving my nutty family and dogs...I adore Photoshop and cake baking/decorating. What could be better than altering the reality in photos through Photoshop and altering everyone's waistline through cake. Archives
